1024 1024 = 210 - The calculations of the bytes is often used instead of 1000 for the quotient of the unit byte, kilobyte, megabyte, etc. 1999th IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) coined the term 'kibibyte' for multiples of 1024, with team to 'kilobyte' for future use multiples of 1000, according to SI. Analogous to the above, the proposed prefixes for computer science are: kibi (kilo binary byte) mebi, gibi, you, and pebi exbi. To date the event is not even close to the widely accepted.

Image resolution for HDTV (high-definition television). Applies only to digital data transmission. Digital Compression and specific BR (Blu-Ray) media capacity enabled by the inauguration of a new standard for image display resolution of 1280×720p and 1280×720i. Standard 'i' require smaller bandwidths and transmission channel suitable for the transmission of image signals broadcast systems (DVB-T), cable systems (DVB-C) and satellite systems (DVB-S) - 'Digital Video Broadcasting' systems. It is used to transmit time mutiplex different content within the existing 'analog' channel with MPEG-2 compression of images. The side ratio of the displayed image is 16:9 and a much closer view of the movie screen. Its further upgrade the standard for image resolution of 1920x1080p and 1920×1080i with MPEG-4 (H.264) compression images. So, much higher resolution images but can not use time division multiple access to the same channel convey different content. Because of the specific equipment, incompatible with existing equipment, this is the standard for DVB rarely used. Labeled as DVB-T2, DVB-C2 and DVB-S2 (Second Generation) standards are also known as 'HD Redy' (HD720) and 'Full HD' (HD1080). Tags 'p' and 'i' are explained along with a description for NTSC and PAL video signal.
1U 1U=1.75" (44.45 mm). Standard height units - RACK UNIT, which is installed in the computer communication cabinet (RACK). Components of the closet and devices that are implanted in the closet are usually high of 1/2U to 3U, unless some special device as a monitor.
3DES Triple DES - Extended DES (Data Encryption Standard) encryption algorithm standard developed and standardized by the 'National Institute of Standards and Technology' (NIST). Uses three 56 bit DES encryption keys (effectively 168 bits). An alternative 3DES version uses just two 56-bit DES key, but using them twice, effectively 112 bit key. Legally permitted for use only in the United States.

Standards to show written mostly analog film content with the format page images in 3:2 and 4:3 relation derived for the U.S. (NTSC) and European market (PAL). For the transmitter, satellite or cable transmission of images identified two substandard, 'i' and 'p'. Letter 'p' (progressive) means the standard when one image is transferred as a single integrated content, while the letter 'i' (interlace) means the first half of the first transmission of images - the even horizontal lines of image, and then immediately display the second half of the picture - the odd horizontal lines of image. From them are derived digital standard to display the DVD (Digital Versatile Disc / Digital Video Disc) content, digital recordings with MPEG-2 video compression.
99.99 ..... Two, three, four, five ..... nines - The number of nines that define the accuracy and security of a system failure in a given time. It might seem that the security or accuracy of the 'three nines' (99.9) is quite large, but it is only at first glance. Suppose that each of the main components of the PC system, a power source, motherboard, memory, CPU, disk, video card, TV card, monitor, keyboard and mouse has a safety notice from 99.9 in the year. Total security is obtained by multiplying the individual security, which in this case for ten devices is 99.9×99.9×99.9× ... = 99.00 ... Damage can only make one badly made assembly. Seemingly small, but the vehicle left the road, or half the city without electricity, or ... PC does not work :-).
